The Struggle is Real
These days, people say that a lot. About traffic, or exams, or feeding toddlers. Maybe folks have bigger struggles, like staying married or paying the mortgage. But did you ever consider that those struggles might be important? Well, in any case, they can. And to show what I mean, I did some research that you won't have to. Both science and scripture talk a lot about this truth. So, if it's not too much work for you, let's get into it!
I'm gonna start with a basic one, that most of y'all already know. diamonds. Now, that's kinda poetic, since diamonds don't really struggle. But they are the result of pressure forming something awesome! Like in the Bible, the entire book of Exodus* talks about how God put Israel under intense mental pressure (through physical struggles) to make His chosen people awesome.
Now for something you may not have heard. See, "Wings arent exactly ready in a catterpillar."** No, the stuff is there, but they'e more like blobs. It's only by the proccess of resting for a bit, growing for a bit, and then struggling a lot that gets blood pumping, wings growing, and finally, beautiful creatures emerging! But it's vital they go through that. Human trying to help just ruin things. Going Biblical again, Mordecai said, "And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?"*** God can use the struggles to show His glory, to and through us.
Okay, I think you get the picture. But since we're having fun, I'll throw down one more for good measure. Really, this one's for the birds. "Before hatching, the chick has to do three things."**** It struggles to breath. The air holes in the egg were enough for the embryo, but not a baby bird. Also, it's heart stops, real quick, shifting from the blood in the egg to it's own blood. When that doesn't happen, it's over before it started. Third, the chick has to chug the leftover yolk, because this food will fuel it's early life. Just lots of struggles. Still, this is vital. It's how stuff as to be. Like Jesus said, "If it be thy will, let this cup pass from me."$ But it wasn't, and didn't, and so we have grace forever. But that also means, we have a perfect helper in our time of deepest need.
I hope that blessed you. For a little more, check out voiceintha on blogspot, facebook, X, and instagram Thanks!
