Sweet Gospel Music

Strap in, folks! Because I've got another list for y'all, chambered and ready. This time, it's all about Christian Country artists. Now, they might try to get "modern," and release tracks that aren't old school country. But frankly, the old school is still what they're known for. And for your convenience, I did the research. Which means, you don't have to. As usual, none of these have sponsored me. And that's okay. But if you're ready to start stepping or toe tapping, get on your boots, and let's get into it!

1.Crowder Technically David Crowder, he used to record tendy, pop worship. But for years now, he's dropped the David*, and begun a country career. Since then, he's recorded lots of old timey spirituals, as well as writing many original numbers. So, there's something for everyone! And his music is available on Sixsteps and Sparrow records, respectively.

2. Annie Wilson One of the younger names on this list, Annie has a powerful testimony,** which launched her impressive career. With another blend of classic hymns and original gems, she's reaching global notariaty with her ministry for Christ. And you can enjoy her music on Capitol Christian Music Group.

3. Zach Williams Zach was always a country musician. But after his own profound testimony,*** his music became exclusively about his faith. Speaking sometimes of that testimony, but always about the healing and redeeming power of Jesus, his music is very inspirational. And, it's available on Essential Records.

4. Ellie Holcomb Another fairly established character, Ellie has a long family history of Christian Music.< With a legacy like that, her talent and taste come naturally. But that's not to say she doesn't work hard to be where she is. Rather, she and her husband, Drew, have put in hard labor, and she's earned several GMA Dove awards, and a bronze EPCA. And you can check her out on Full Heart Music.

5. Katy Nichole I got just one more, for the young among us, and also the young at heart. Totally different from anyone else we've heard today, Katy has yet another powerful testimony >and if it weren't for The Grace of God (One of her songs.) She wouldn't be here at all, let alone recording. But as it is, she has a powerful, moving voice in new wave country. I put her last, as she's the least traditional on this list. But if you're cool with that, you can enjoy her music on Centricity Music.
