Silly Sit-Coms

In case you're new here, I share entertainment with folks.  Music,  I movies, and more.  Today,  I got a handful of wholesome hilarious shows. Some you probably never heard of, but I did the research,  so you don't have to. Just a little bundle of joy to jump start your week. And if that's cool with you,  butter some popcorn, and let's get into it!

1. 9 Years to Neptune

This show has it all! Live action, puppetry, the occaisonal animated seqence. It's a tribute to The Office. While on earth, we meet an engineering firm hired to build a space craft for a deep space voyage to colonize Neptune. Single camera, interview style. Then it changes speed, and becomes a space epic. It cuts back and forth, but imagine The Office meets Gilligan's Island, with puppets, in space. Available on BYUTV, on a planet near you.

2. The Red Green Show

Taking a sharp left turn at Ontario, this show is suer Canadian. The titular Red Green oversees the Possum Lodge, a brotherhood living on a campground, tucked away in the forests of British Columbia. With a cast of characters including his nerdy nephew, a claustrophobic park ranger trapped on duty in the watchtower, and a fire marshall obsessed with plastic explosives, he's got his hands full. But it's nothing duct tape can't fix. And, it's Available on Tubi!

3. Overlord and the Andersons

Going back to space for a bit. Well, really, suburbia. This one is a classic fish out of water comedy. But instead of a small european country, this house guest came from space. After crashing in their backyard, a galactic dictator moves in with a mild-mannered American family. Settling in, he shifts his goals to dominating the neighborhood, though often helping out inadvertantly. Both cute seasons available on BYUTV.

4. Diplomatic Immunty

An entirely different take on the same trope, This stars a blackballed diplomat, whose behavior has exiled him to the Fausi embassy in New Zealand. Don't worry if you never heard of it. They'll gladly explain the customs and traditions, like harvesting Whales, or dangerous Limbo duels. Want to learn more? It's available on Tubi.

5. Dan vs.

And now, for something completely different! Not only is it a cartoon, the concept is completely original. Dan, an unemployed slob, is convinced that the world has it in for him. But he won't take that lying down! Instead, he drags his reluctant friend Chris along, to help him get even. Along for the ride is Chris' wife Elise, and Mr. Mumbles (Dan's unfortunatey named female cat.) The results are hilarious, and Dan's paranoia is usually poved right. It's just fun to watch, and if you're interested, it's available on Tubi.

I hope that blessed you. For a little more, check out voiceintha on blogspot, facebook, X, and instagram       Thanks!
