Legendary Legacy

Each Christian should leave a Godly legacy. And by doing so, our lives will evangelize our world, like a "city on a hill." Which is a nice idea everybody talks about, but how do we do that? Well, I've been researching ways, so you dont have to. And it's all straightforward stuff you can do. So lace up your boots, brace yourselves, and let's get into it!

            To begin with, we need to start displaying appropriate spirituality in the home, like it's outlined in Colossians 3. We can do this by showing Godly love in the way we treat each other. Starting wth couples, who give good examples for their children. These then treat each other well, along with their parents, rippling out into the world. Paul defines this as  considerate, unselfish sacrifce.

            Specifically, this implies both single couple households, but also extended families. While healthy spousal intimacy is vital, it exists to poduce  a nuturing formative environment for those brought up in such a home. This kind of structure both builds looking forward, and maintains by looking back where they started.

               Next, one should consider their workplace as if it were an imbeded missionary deployment. Display integrity, behave with respect, and treat people kindly. Live by example.

          In all things , we should let our light so shine before men. For if salt hath lost it's savor, wherewith shall it have use? Indeed, it shall be cast out and trodden under foot. Matt 5:13
