Exorcism Essentials

Lots of folks lately have been talking about Exorcism. On the one hand, they're excited by the real vocation. But at the same time, they're fascinated by the idea from popular films* But as reality is rather different, I've done some research. It's fascinating, but don't try this at home. Better to leave it alone. Still, if you'd like to learn some strange but true trivia, then let's get into it!

      For example, did you know that most demons have a "nemisis"** No, I don't mean the Greek Godess. But in a modern sense, they're directly opposed to, specifically, God the Father, The Holy Spirit, or Christ, depending. And by the assistance of whoever, said demon is cast out.

     There's also a pecking order, of sorts, in Hell.** Apparently, the Devil delegates. Maybe that's obvious, but different demons are in charge of stuff, and most possesons are handled by "staff." But knowing who's calling the satanic shots helps combat them, and once again, cast them out.

     Also, if you're concerned about potential possesion, good news! I have it on good authority, demons can't read your thoughts.*** They may ask questions, and they usually taunt or insult, but they just don't know as much as they seem to. And by knowing things like this, we can be much better prepared to send them back to Hell!

     There's a lot more info like this, but it's not healthy to think about that too much. Instead, we should beat them pre-game, by putting  on the full armor of God. Which includes, if you recall, the sword of the Spirit. By whose power, we can do all things, and win every victory. Because who the Son sets free is free indeed.
