Curing Conflict

If you don't know conflict, you're either very young, or you come from another planet. But if, like most humans, you struggle with resolving conflict, I did all the research*, so you wouldn't have to. So come along, folks, and let's get into it!

To begin with, we gotta understand how the Christian mind is different from the unbelieving mind**. Knowing the Maker and Perfecter of everything changes our attitudes and opinions about things. Which means we not only treat stuff different, but the way we do that both glorifies God, and points people to Him. In this way, we can find disagreement, but in humility, also disarm them, by the way we live.

To do this, we should let scripture and the Holy Spirit to shape our ideas and descisions.*** This will immediately get rid of some issues. There are things like abortion or L.G.B.T.Q.+? whatever- that the church just doesn't mess with. But where conflict does arise, we can step outside of our emotional selves and resolve stuff rationally. In fact, guided by the Spirit, scripture has loads of examples as to resolution. Disputes about church policies? look at Peter and Paul. Workplace disagreements? Think of Daniel and Nebuchanezzer. And these are just a couple. But God can fix anything.

Ultimately, the highest goal is still to firstly, love God, and then, love others. And that order is on purpose. Because, obviously, He is most important. But also, and by that logic, depending on our King, we can restore anything.

I hope that blessed you. For a little more, check out voiceintha on blogspot, facebook, X, and instagram       Thanks!
